six more dead bodies recovered 4 died in different accident

 

6 More dead bodies recovered from debris at Flood hit area of Ochosht.

 

CHITRAL: As well as 6 more dead bodies recovered from debris of Flood hit area of Ochosht DPO Chitral Muhammad Jafar Khan told this scribe. The rescue activities were continue under supervision of Maqbool Ahmad Subadar Major Border Police Force Chitral. According to detail Ochosht village had been it by tremendous flood on June 24 as a result more than 20 house were damaged and 13 people had been died. 7 dead bodies have been recovered from the debris and 6 were missing. 6 dead bodies were recovered from the debris on Sunday. The most sorrowful was scene at that time when three dead bodies were recovered during the rescue activities. Two daughters of deceased Jameel Ahmad had hold arms of their father to save themselves from flood and they had died on the spot.  Dead bodies of 4 female and 2 males were recovered from the flood hit village. Hence rescue operation is continue and an Excavator Machine of NHA removing debris from damaged houses but supply of electricity and water could not restored until 4 days and people of the area facing great problems. Meanwhile chief Patron of JUI Chitral Qari Faizullah Chitrali announced to compensate and bear expenditures of flood victims families for one month. Sarhad Rural Support Program (SRSP) donated relief goods worth 500000 among the affected people DCO Chitral Rahmatullah Wazir was chief guest on the occasion while MNA Chitral also announced of rupees 100000 for affected people. Provincial Minister Saleem Khan also visited the flood hit area and comfort the victimized families. Pakistan Tahreeki Insaf (PTI) leader Haji Sultan also distributed cash amount as compensation (35 to 50 thousands) per affected house hold among the victimized people. President Legal Aid Forum for Human Rights (LAFH) Abdul Nasir also donated steel pipeline for water supply worth 100000 for carrying potable drinking water thorough pipeline to the affected area. Different civil societies are busy to support and compensate the affected people. During the natural disaster in Chitral a large number of people harshly suffered and lost their lives, crops, livestock, houses. In this devastating circumstances Pak Everbright Development organization (PEDO) Volunteers participated in relief activities they took the wounded persons to DHQ hospital Chitral, DR khalil-ur- rehman and siraj hussian and other members mobilized the community to help the needy people when they are in trouble and they were tried of  their best to help the effected community,  

 

 

2 died in road mishap.

 

As well as two persons were died in a  road misshape in Torkoh area. According to SHO police station Torkho Rahmatul Azam a Toyota vehicle bearing registration number PRC 4054 was carrying fire wood from Chitral to Torkho. When it reached to a narrow place it fell down in a deep ravine as a result two persons were died on the spot. Those who were died were identified as Nooruddin son of Mubarak Khan and Driver Muhammad Akbar son of Nadir Khan residents of Shahgram. Torkoh police lodged FIR under section 279/320 of Pakistan panel code and started further investigations.

 

Man drowned in Chitral River.

 

A man was drowned in Chitral River dead body id still missing. According to Chitral police a person was driving a Land Cruiser vehicle and was on his way when he reached near Chew bridge he with his vehicle fell down in Chitral river and is still missing. Source Chitral police lodged FIR under section 279/320 of PPC and started further investigations. Sourced told this scribe that Jalaluddin son of Sheikh Salahuddin was driving his land cruiser vehicle when he reached near Chew bridge the vehicle was uncontrolled and fell down in Chitral river. Eyewitnesses told that they hear loudly and when they saw towards the river a vehicle was seen drowning in the deep water of Chitral River. Hence it could not confirmed that so many persons were setting inside the vehicle. Dead body of Jalaluddin and his vehicle are still missing.

 

Meanwhile an woman was also died when she fell down in nullah at Reshun village some 50 KM from here.  Her dead has been retrieved by local volunteers. She was identified as wife of Rehmat Khan, a resident of Raghain. She was washing carpets when the incident occurred.
