Preface:
Over this past week I have read two articles from a recently joined Christian sister known as , "lovelypaper". Her articles tell of the spiritual battles she and her husband have been going through, both prior to their coming to Jesus, as well as now, as new Christians. I realized the desperate need for prayer that this couple is in need of so I thought to myself "Why not".
The way I see it, if Satan is attacking one of us, and we are all "One Body in Christ", then he is attacking all of us, in one way or another. I’m sure if you go to the Hub site of "lovelypaper", yourselves, you too will see their plight, and need for prayer from all of us.
A SPIRITUAL WARFARE PRAYER
Lord Jesus, in your Holy Name, I bind all evil spirits, of the air, atmosphere, water, ground, underground, and netherworld. I further bind in Jesus’ Holy Name, any and all emissaries of the satanic relm and claim the Precious blood of Jesus Christ, on the air, atmosphere, water, ground, underground, and netherworld. Heavenly Father God, allow your Son Jesus to come now with the Holy Spirit, to protect me from all harm and to keep all evil spirits from taking revenge on me in any way.
In the Holy Name of Jesus Christ, I seal myself, my family, my relatives, and this place, in the Precious Blood of Jesus Christ. Holy Spirit, please reveal to me through word of knowledge, any evil spirits that may have attached themselves to me in any way, such as, anger, bitterness, arrogance, confusion, deception, envy, fear, hatred, false-pride, resentment, jealousy, insecurity, infidelity, pornography, lust, and any others.
In the Holy Name of Jesus Christ, I bind and rebuke you spirit of, _______________________, ( name the evil, ie.gluttony etc.) I command you to go directly to Jesus Christ, without manifestation, and without any harm befalling me or anyone, so that He can dispose of you, according to His Holy Will.
Thank you Jesus for your Love. Thank you Holy Spirit for empowering me to be aggressive against satan, and all of the evil spirits. Thank you Jesus for setting me free. AMEN!
This Spiritual Warfare Prayer has the ability to take Authority over any evil spirit, binding it as you rebuke it and dispatch it to Our Lord Jesus Christ, for Jesus to deal with it as he sees fit.
Jesus reminds us about the power of prayer and the strength of prayer when we pray as a spirit-filled group through his words in MATTHEW: 18: 18-20, saying:
"Verily I say unto you, Whatsoever ye bind on earth, shall be bound in heaven, and whatsoever ye loose, on earth, shall be loosed in heaven. And I say unto you, that if two of you shall agree on earth as touching anything that they shall ask it shall be done for them of my Father which is in Heaven.For where two or three are gathered together in My Name, I am in the Midst of them."
Through His death and resurrection, Jesus takes dominion and authority over satan and all of his demonic followers. Through our Re-birth in Jesus as Christians we share in this through Jesus Christ and The Holy Spirit.
