Testing Of Your Faith
There is a false doctrine, a false teaching, a false understanding, mistakenly taught in Christian religions.
Roman Catholic, and Non-Roman Catholic Churches alike, regardless of denomination, all wrongfully teach this one falsehood.
They all teach: Almighty God Tests the strength of One’s Faith in God.
That could not be further from the truth. They teach that when you have to face hardships, disasters, illnesses, that this is Almighty God testing your faith in Him. How ultimately ludicrous is that?
What would be the point of a God who is all loving and all knowing, to test that which He already knows?
That would mean that He is not all knowing. That would make God a liar and a sinner, and it would make God’s Holy Word the Holy Bible, nothing more than a collection of children’s stories, not to mention the fact that it would make Jesus crucifixion meaningless, and His resurrection just a bedtime story for children.
There is one though, who is happiest if he can get you to think that the hardship, or disaster, or illness is a test by God testing the strength of your faith. That one, is Satan the Devil.
One’s Faith, one’s Loyalty, one’s Trust, one’s Obedience, ultimately ones Love for God and God alone, is what Satan desires to destroy, hoping that he can have them for himself.
Even before the creation of earth and of life, Lucifer (an arch-angel) aka. Satan, aka. The devil, has sought to elevate his standing in heaven above God. He also caused one third(1/3) of heaven’s angels to rebel with him. His conceitedness, his envy, his pride, cost him and his followers the love of God and heaven as their home.
Since the beginning of creation with Adam and Eve in the Garden of Eden, Satan has been doing his best to try and turn man against his creator, trying to prove that Almighty God is not as infallible as God is, in order to elevate himself above God. Satan has always wanted to be seen equal to or even higher than God.
God will and does permit Satan to try and turn any man away from God. He permits Satan to test any one of us and to try to turn us, our faith, and our worship from God and to himself. This is why we face the hardships, disasters, and illnesses. But, as God permitted Satan to test Job, God also set limitations as to how far Satan can go.
In other words, Satan cannot interfere with our “Free Choice” our “Free Will”. We must be allowed to choose freely the path we take.
Satan is free to tempt us with wealth and power as he tempted Jesus in the wilderness, or he is free to bring disaster into our lives as he did with Job in order to test the strength of our Faith. The outcome must be totally our “Choice” freely chosen by us.
One might say that I am giving the devil Satan more attention than he is due, and they could be right, but, if I fail to point out his trickery his lying, I could be considered to be one of his followers.
That is something I deny emphatically. There is no truth whatsoever with such an accusation.
I love and worship Almighty God my Father, the Lord Jesus my brother and I serve only God.
One has to know their enemy even better than one knows one’s self in order to defeat him.
