Yaum-e-Ashur is being observed today (Sunday) across the country with religious sanctity and solemnity amid tight security arrangements. The small and large processions of Alam and Zuljinnah would appear in the whole country and the mourners would pay great homage to Syed Imam Hussein and his companions.
On the occasion of Yaum-e-Ashur, a Tazia procession would appear from Imambargah Zainabia following Azan-e-Ali Akbar and will, passing through its route, terminate on Imambaragah Isnaashari, G-6.
In Rawalpindi, a Tazia procession will be taken out from ancient Imambargah Colonel Maqbool after Azan-e-Ali Akbar and will route through various paths to terminate on the same Imambargah Colonel Maqbool.
In Karachi, the central majlis will take place at Nishter Park at 11am. Thereafter, Alam, Zuljinah and Tazia procession will come out from Masjid Khurasan and pass through Nishter Park, Sir Shah Nawaz Bhutto Road, Father James Road, Mehfil Shah Khurasan, MA Jinnah Road, Mansifield Street, Preedy Street, again MA Jinnah Road, Thathai Compound, Baba-e-Urdu Road, Nishter Road, Bara Imam, Altaf Hussein Road, MA Jinnah Road, Bolton Market, Bambai Bazaar and Nawab Mohabbat Khan Road and then will end on Imambargah Husainia Iranian.
In Lahore, the Central procession of Zuljinnah was brought out from historic Nisar Hawaili yesterday night at 10pm, which moved overnight through inside Mochi Gate. The mourners will mourn with metal chains at Mochi Gate after Azan of Fajar. Afterwards, the central procession will move on the specific pathway. Zuhrain Prayers will be offered on raod outside Sunehri Mosque.
Afterwards, the procession will make headway through Rang Mahal, Soha Bazar, Gumti Bazaar, Tehsil Bazaar, Bhati Gate and other specific roads and end at Kerbala Gamey Shah, where Majlis-e-Sham-e-Ghariban will be held follwed by large-scale mourning with chain.
The mourning majaalis would be convened on various places including Allama Iqbal Town, Ilaqa Nawabsahib Abbot Road, Imamia Colony, Jafria Colony, BB Pak Daman, Kotwali Chawk, Islampura and several other places.
In Peshawar, the central procession would come out from Imambaragah Agha Razi Shah at 9am and end at Imambargah Abdur Rehman Mohallah Khudadad.
In Quetta, the procession of Alam, Zuljinnah and tazia will be taken out from Alamdar Road and will pass through Liaquat Bazaar Toghi Road to end on the same Alamdar Road.
