Sevak Sangh Baramullah presently at Jammu is going to celebrate holy festival
of Maag Purnamashi by organizing a Yage’ on February 18, at Mata Rupbhavani
Ashram Bhori in Talab-Tillo area. Affiliated with Sanatan Dharam Sabha Baramullah,
Sangh is continuously observing the day with gaiety and fervor.
Kalash Pooza will be started
at 7 pm on February 17 and Puran Aahuti will be offered
on February 18 at 12:30 pm.
Prashad Vitran will start 2 pm onwards on same day. Ministers, legislators,
bureaucrats and people from all walks join in to get blessings of lord Shiva on
the day.
The entire Maag month is
considered pious as people use to take holy dips in famous rivers besides
performing special Pooza. It is being said according to mythology that those
who perform or attend yage’ on the day, achieve peace and prosperity.
Sangh has extended open invitation all devotees to
attend the function and get blessings of the almighty.
