People have asked me many times during my life’s span if I believe in angels; and I’ll reply, “Yes, I do.” God tells people in many chapters of the Holy Bible that angels are among the people on earth. I’ve experience angels with me many times in my life and without them I’ve wondered how I would have survived the experience without the angel’s visit that guided me through the barrage of problems.
In the Holy Bible, King James Version, and Old Testament and in Psalms 91:11, it tells people, “For he shall give his angels charge over thee, to keep you in all your ways.”
God’s word explicitly tells people in the above verse that people have angels and they’re with them whenever they’re in need. People must believe and have faith in God’s word and rely on what his word tells them; and when they believe, they’ll see the results of what he has promised in His word.
And yes, I believe in a lifetime angels will visit to prevent harm of those people God is not ready to take away from earth at a certain time period. I believe many people are saved from death because of the hands of an angel God sent during their hour of need because “it is not their time.”
In my opinion angels are in direct communication with God at all times as it tells people in the New Testament and in Matthew 18:10 “See that you do not despise one of these little ones. I tell you that in heaven their angels always see the face of my Father who is in heaven; and in Hebrews 13:2, “Do not neglect to show hospitality to strangers, for thereby some have entertained angels unawares.”
There have been times in life when I’ve wondered why a certain person came into my life and for what reason and before too long I’ve found there was a purpose for that person because they brought advice, comfort, helping hands and a desire to truly be a friend providing guidance and assistance. Do I believe this person came into my life unannounced; no I do not; I believe it was an angel sent by God to assist in my hour of need? And yes, angels are in the flesh as stated in Hebrews 13:2 and they’re sent for a personal reason.
It’s my belief that angels encompass our doorsteps every day of our lives as Psalms 91:11 tells us; and I believe they guard and watch over people throughout life. I don’t believe God would give life to people without them having angels beside them during their lifetime. It tells people in Matthew 26:53, “Do you think that I cannot appeal to my Father, and he will at once send me more than twelve legions of angels?”
God’s word tells people in the New Testament and in Hebrew 1:6 & 7 “And again, when he brings in the first-begotten into the world, he said, let all the angels of God worship him . . . and of the angels he said, who make his angels spirits, and his ministers a flame of fire.”
God’s word is direct concerning angels and they appear in many chapters of the New and Old Testament. It’s my belief they’re there to act as God’s servants to guide and assist people, Christians and sinners alike, in their darkest hours of life, as it tells people in the New Testament and in Luke 4: 9 – 11, “He brought him to Jerusalem, and set him on a pinnacle of the temple, and said unto him, if you be the Son of God, cast yourself down from there: for it is written, He shall give his angels charge over you, to keep you: and in their hands they shall bear you up, lest at any time you dash your foot against a stone.”
It’s my opinion that if angels appeared during Daniel’s time of need as it tells people in the Old Testament and in Daniel 6:22, “My God has sent his angel, and has shut the lions’ mouths, that they have not hurt me: forasmuch as before him innocence was found in me; and also before you, O king, have I done no hurt.”
If God sent angels to protect Daniel why would God not send angels to people on earth to protect them in their hour of need? If you believe in God’s word, people “must” believe in angels. God used angels many, many times in the bible and it’s my belief, he sends them to people on a daily basis in their life here on earth.
I leave readers with this message in the New Testament and in 2 Thessalonians 1:7, “And to you who are troubled rest with us, when the Lord Jesus shall be revealed from heaven with his mighty angels.” Amen
