The book by al-Zawahri is about 215 pages long. This is the latest publication from Ayman al-Zawahri, who is second in command to Al-Qaeda which is led by Osama Bin Laden. Al-Zawahri had decided to use a war of words between Al-Qaeda and other militants. Many militants so far have become disillusioned of using tactics such as suicide bombings that have already killed thousands of civilians. In the book, al-Zawahri said that the violence is justified.
The book is called “Exonerations.” The publisher of the book is Al-Qaeda’s media arm known as Al-Sahab.
“This message that I present to the reader today is the most difficult, if not the hardest I have written in my life,” al-Zawahri said in the introduction of his newly published book.
“It serves the interests of the Crusader-Zionist alliance with the Arab leaders to drug the mujahideen and dram them away from the confrontation,” he wrote in the introduction making it clear that he is criticizing fellow militants for turning their backs on violence against civilians.
Currently, al-Zawahri is believed by many experts in the field of counter-terrorism that he is the brains and life support behind Al-Qaeda and not Osama Bin Laden. They believe that al-Zawahri is the root of all strategies executed by Al-Qaeda.
