Voters in Buffton, SC are heading to the polls to cast their preference for President of the United States. Two other races are the U.S. Senate race between Republican incumbant Lindsey Graham and Democratic Bob Conley. Also, Republican incumbant Joe Wilson is challenged by Democrat Rob Miller for U.S. House District 2.
Supporters for Senator McCain have been expressing concern about Barack Obama’s plan to redistribute wealth from those making over $250,000 to those who are not. This concerns many who have small businesses in this area which are important to the local economy. Obama supporters are continuing the message of hope and change after 8 years of failed Bush policies.
One potential problem today might be the quiet changing of traditional polling locations without any explanation. This could cause confusion and discourage voters who may be pressed for time.
